Meet Sarah

Sarah Greenwell, Director

The skills and experience Sarah has in bringing brands to market is second to none.

Sarah’s marketing career began in 2003 after she graduated with a Masters degree in Brand Promotion. She worked in-house as a marketing manager in Australia before returning to the UK, where she established, grew and eventually sold a prosperous marketing agency over a 10-year period.

Always keen for a new challenge, Sarah launched a toy brand and went on to win North East Creative Business of the Year, Export Awards for her work in international markets and a string of toy industry awards.

The pull of the digital marketing industry was too strong to resist though, and in 2020, Sarah decided the time was right to launch Stick Marketing alongside her established and flourishing toy business.

Meet Bev

Bev Walton, Director

After 15 years working as a senior production journalist and assistant editor at regional newspapers, a move into digital marketing back in 2015 seemed like a natural progression for Bev.

Having loved working with Sarah for several years as a freelancer, Bev couldn't wait to partner up to launch Stick together in 2020.

Her journalistic background means producing creative written content comes naturally. Whether it's finding an engaging angle to make a corporate blog more human, or creating a magical world as one of Santa's elf penpals (we're looking at you, Elf for Christmas), Bev will turn her writing hand to any and all subject matters.

But where her digital marketing passion really lies is in website design. Nothing makes her heart sing like finally hitting that publish button on a beautiful new website she's built.

Bev gets a kick out of designing websites that not only look good but rank well in search results and deliver value for our clients.

Emma Duke, Digital Marketing Executive

Emma has been writing website and social media content for over 16 years. Always keen to do something a bit different, she has written for a range of organisations, from small not-for-profits to the teen soap Hollyoaks!

After taking time out to have three awesome kids, Emma is now back and more creative than ever.

Whether it’s website copy, a blog or a social media post, she loves nothing more than writing engaging content that gets clients noticed online.
